🎃🍬 Trick or Treat? Let’s Talk Teeth! 🦷
Halloween is all about dressing up, having fun and enjoying a few sweet treats! 👻
But did you know that some sweets are a little kinder to your teeth than others?
🍫 The kinder choices: Plain chocolate and sweets without sticky fillings.
🍭 The ones to be mindful of: Sticky toffees, sour sweets and lollipops that keep sugar in contact with your teeth for longer.
The good news? You don’t have to miss out on your Halloween favourites!
A few simple habits can help:
🎃 Enjoy sweets with a meal rather than grazing throughout the day.
💧 Drink water afterwards.
🪥 Keep up your usual brushing routine.
At North Lakeland Dental, we’re all about balance, not judgement. So enjoy the Halloween fun, look after those lovely smiles and have a spook-tacular time! 🧡
